Our Approach

During this transition into adolescence, having someone to talk through your concerns with can help reduce stress, frustrations, and help you grow into the person you desire l to be. We focus on helping teens navigate this season of life, develop emotional intelligence, and increase their communication skills. In collaboration, you and your therapist will determine which method of counseling or psychotherapy is right for you and your goals. Our methods include, but are not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Relationship Counseling, and Mindfulness.

What to Expect

  • Initial Intake Session, where you and your therapist will learn more about one another and make the decision if this is the best fit, as well as determine the goals you’d like to work on together. Parents/caregivers may be asked to be a part of this intake process as well.

  • Following Sessions, where your chosen goals will be worked on utilizing evidence based techniques combined with your unique needs and your therapist’s personal style.

Each individual is different, which means these sessions are tailored to your individual concerns, goals, and needs. Your therapist will work with you to determine which discussions, strategies, and timeline benefits your counseling or therapy the most.
